Online Giving

We are pleased to announce that our parish is now offering Online Giving. 

If you have not yet signed up for Online Giving, please consider this method of contribution. Online Giving can stand on its own as a means of donation or can be used in conjunction with your regular offering envelopes and offers additional benefits for you as a giver.

Some of these benefits include:

*No need for writing checks

*Option to remain anonymous

*Financial planning allows you to align your paychecks with your parish's offertory schedule

*Allows you to give even if you are unable to attend parish services

*Contribution amount is easily adjusted

*Credit card option allows you to take advantage of any benefits such as airline mileage or cash bonuses *Use Online Giving in conjunction with offering envelopes

*No need to share confidential credit card or bank account information with parish staff; enter it directly into the Online Giving secure site

If after signing up you decide you do not wish to continue giving online, you are able to discontinue at any time. Donation amounts, frequency of giving, and account information are easily adjusted and in the complete control of the giver.

Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance

Our parish supports Catholic Education and offers financial aid to families of the parish who have children who attend catholic school.  We encourage all families to consider Catholic Education by touring our local schools and applying for tuition assistance.  Families are required to apply for tuition assistance annually and applications are due by May 31st.  For more information and specific requirements please see the attached forms.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is coming to St Joseph's this June 18-22, please mark your calendars.   Can't make it in June? Look for information in upcoming bulletins about VBS at St James in August.  The  parish is looking for volunteers including Snack Leaders and Imagination Station leaders.  These are some of the Most Important Jobs in VBS!  For more information contact Linda Paulson at lpaulson724@aol.com.

Knights of Columbus Memorial Day Flag Display

​The Knights of Columbus Pangborn ASM 387 is paying Tribute to Veterans on Memorial Day 2018 with an AMERICAN Flag Display of Honor. Show your Support by Sponsoring a Flag to be displayed at Your Church during Memorial Day weekend. See flyer for more information. $25 donation per flag with proceeds given to ARCHDIOCESE FOR THE MILITARY SERVICES, INC., the Military Chaplain Scholarship Program, to help fund the Education of Seminarians preparing to become Catholic Chaplain in the U.S. armed Services. Please also consider donating a faded or tattered American flag for a flag retirement ceremony to be held June 9th at the council hall.

New York City Bus Trip

St James Parish, as part of their s150th anniversary celebration, is organizing a 3 day/2 night bus trip to New York City.  The weekend trip will offer free time to shop and sightsee and enjoy the Holiday Splendor of New York City. Enjoy the beautiful window decorations and the “tree” in Rockefeller Center as well as the Holiday Craft fairs throughout Manhattan and attend mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral.  A Tour Director will be with the group the entire weekend to assist and help with directions and suggestions.  For more information please see our Flyer.

We're going on a trip to the Pacific Northwest and California!

September 16th - 23rd 2018

Highlights will include Seattle, Mount St. Helens Visitor Center, Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Newport, Bandon State Natural Area, Redwood National Park, Eureka, Avenue of the Giants, San Francisco, and a choice of San Francisco Bay Cruise or a City Tour of San Francisco.
